The Failing School System
The public school system is failing the student of today. The sad part of the current school system is that the teachers do not care about if your child learning. Yes, getting a livable wage is important but making an impact on the future generation is even more important. There is a big gap in knowledge between a High School graduate and an Associate degree alumnus. It is bad enough the funding is going down but the quality teachers who chose to become a teacher is following. The only thing I can see being the difference between a college professor and a teacher is the degree the pay and most importantly the students who want to be there. Controversy with the wage is that the more the teachers get paid the more knowledge the students get. That is not right. There are standards in place for the student to know the minimum to pass the class.
